Silk Scarf - Poppy

PRODUCT DETAILS 

Inspired by the poppies planted in the artist's back garden, the Poppy scarf is an exquisite composition of colours, shapes, and motifs. The creative process involved hand drawing shapes, cutting them out and scanning then using multiple layers. A sense of fluidity is created by the play of opacity and transparency of this artwork. The mix of darker greens, oranges, and softer pinks gives depth and movement to the scarf pattern.

Their scarves are, first, works of art, created on their themes and utilising paint, ink, print-making and drawing techniques. Once they have a final selection, the artworks are transferred to a digital space in order to refine and prepare them for printing.

They aim to make each design a standalone piece of art, within a cohesive collection.
