Use + Care

The essentials for taking care of your Dock & Bay are:

  • Cold machine wash (under 30 degrees). After the first few washes, it's ok to turn up the heat.
  • The pouches are hand-wash only and should not go in the washing machine.
  • Don't mix your white shirt or dress with coloured towels (or coloured anything), it can lead to tears! We also recommend not washing Dock & Bay stripy towels and block colour towels in the same wash. To be on the safe side!
  • Try not to use fabric softener, as over time it can reduce the absorbency of the towel. Using fabric softener won't damage your towel initially, but over time, it can reduce its performance. We want your product to last as long as possible, so we're working to prevent this.
  • Do not bleach, or put near fire or hot implements.
  • Tumble drying is ok if you need to, but air-drying is kinder to Dock & Bay products. It won't damage your towel initially, but over time, it can reduce its performance. We want your product to last as long as possible, so we're working to prevent this.
