The Photography Edition | Travel Game
This game gets photographers who want to find new and unique things to photograph to go on an adventure all around taking photos.
Your course will be charted based on the number of photos you've taken, the colour and type of those photos (and pros Getting Lost have thrown in some directions based on your shutter speed, ISO and aperture), and the weather and features you can find. Once at your location, we'll have you using different photographic techniques to practice your skills and photograph things in exciting ways.
The Photography Edition of the Getting Lost Game caters to all types of photographers. It has "just for fun" directions on one side for those shooting on their phone and "pro" directions on the other side for those shooting with DSLR cameras with manual settings.
The Photography Edition can be played walking or driving - if you are walking and a direction tells you to head a certain number of km, change this to metres.
The Photography Edition is made with the help of a fantastic Getting Lost community of photographers—hundreds of suggestions for this game. A particular mention goes to Jackie, Olivia, Cheryl, Kylie, Emma, Jane, Gin, Melissa, Joanne, Amanda, Sandra, and Tonia, whose ideas feature in this edition.
The cards measure 91mm x 55mm. They have misdirection cards on one side and NZ and Australian locations (inspiration cards) on the other. All these locations can be found on the Getting Lost blog, so it's perfect for a little holiday inspiration and dreaming.
Want to customise your game? You can add a Getting Lost suitcase in your favourite colour. Each suitcase fits 45 cards and is excellent for combining packs and taking them out and about.
Please remember to play the game responsibly, stay safe, and be able to return home at all times.
