Secret Garden Linen Tea Towel

Created in collaboration with Auckland artist Rachael Mayne, Thread Design's new Secret Garden Collection digitally printed on linen, features a unique & modern floral landscape designed to bring a new aesthetically emotional experience to your space.

This range presents a lively floral print filled with an abundance of lavender, daisies, rhododendrons, and green foliage.

Rachel’s artworks are often dotted with flowers across beautiful landscapes. Based in Auckland, she mainly works in an abstract impressionist style, inspired by the colors and forms found in nature. She is also fascinated by the use of light, layers, and texture, and how this can be used to portray depth. This gives Rachael's art the feeling and quality of being able to 'step right into it'.

“The Secret Garden collection is based on my original painting “You’ll find me here” which celebrates the notion that even at times of uncertainty, there is still beauty among the chaos right in front of us. Even though the world feels like it has tipped upside down, wildflowers still spring amongst the weeds, rhododendron trees bloom at the end of the road, and vibrant hydrangeas colour the roadside.” - Rachel Mayne
