This keychain is cast from an 18th-century key.

Areaware's Reality series, created by Harry Allen, draws inspiration from the beauty found in everyday objects. Each item is carefully selected, often with a touch of humour.

In this case, an 18th-century Italian church key has been transformed into an oversized silicone keychain.

Born in New Jersey in 1964, Harry Allen received a Master’s Degree in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute. In 1993, he founded Harry Allen Design, and since then, he has designed furniture, lighting, products, and interiors for a diverse range of international clients.

By casting natural forms, Allen thoughtfully reimagines objects, giving them new uses.

Includes stainless steel ring to hold your keys.
