A Plant-Based Farmhouse | Cherie Hausler

$55.00

Cherie Hausler's passion has always been to bring people together to share good food and good times.

She hosts 'country gatherings' wherever she lives around the world. Her passion grew when she returned to the Barossa Valley to settle in an unrenovated 150-year-old stone farmhouse on Koonunga Hill. At her farmhouse, she tends a rambling edible garden, forages for wild olives, turns apples into cider vinegar, makes kombucha, bakes, blends tea, tends her horses, ducks, dogs, and other animal friends, and nurtures community connection through vegan food.

Cherie's joyful approach to food, community, and life is celebrated in her dreamy book, A Plant-Based Farmhouse. This book features over 80 whole food, dairy- and sometimes gluten-free recipes based on traditional plant-based country foods and cooking methods, along with veg-centric riffs on familiar homestead favourites.

Whether you are looking for inspiration for hearty salads, roasts, brunches, magnificent cakes and tarts, or go-to staples, there's so much deliciousness within these pages.  Plant-based or otherwise, no one needs to miss out on the mouth-watering recipes featured in this book.

The book has received rave reviews from people like Maggie Beer, who says, "I'm thrilled by this beautiful book. Cherie's recipes are bursting with flavour and creativity. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do."
